He is the author of the *Thank You, World* children's picture book series with Free Spirit Publishing, written to help young people slow down, notice the world, and build gentle rituals of gratitude.

## About the author

Dan holds a Master's degree in the Art of Teaching and is a member of the Author's Guild and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). He holds a certificate in educational therapy with more than 2,000 hours logged in practice. The question that continues to inform his work is: what helps young people heal, grow, and thrive?
